Ruce Privacy Policy

Ruce ("the App") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy outlines how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application.

• Personal Data: Information such as your name, email address, gender, and date of birth if you choose to provide it for profile creation or personalized features.
• Health & Wellness Data: Information you input regarding your TCM constitution, bowel habits, hydration, emotional states, and menstrual cycles.
• Data from Bamai App: If you choose to connect Ruce with the Bamai app, Ruce will receive pulse analysis data from Bamai to enhance personalized recommendations. This data transfer only occurs with your explicit consent.
• Usage Data: Anonymous data related to your interaction with the App, such as feature usage, frequency of use, and technical data (e.g., device type, OS version) for app improvement and troubleshooting.

Data Storage and Security

Your personal and health data is primarily stored locally on your device. If cloud backup or synchronization features are offered and you opt-in, your data will be encrypted during transit and at rest on secure servers. We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure.

Data Usage

Your data is used to:

• Provide personalized bowel movement and hydration plans.
• Track and help you understand your emotional and menstrual cycles.
• Offer tailored wellness recommendations based on TCM principles and data from Bamai (if connected).
• Improve the App's functionality, features, and user experience.
• Communicate with you regarding app updates or support.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal identification information to others. We may share generic aggregated demographic information not linked to any personal identification information with our business partners and trusted affiliates for the purposes outlined above. If you connect Ruce with Bamai, data is shared between these two apps as described under "Data Collection". We will not share your data with other third parties without your explicit consent, unless required by law.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access, update, or delete your personal data stored in the App.
• Withdraw consent for data processing, including data sharing with Bamai (this may limit certain features).
• Opt-out of non-essential data collection or communications.

Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will take steps to delete such information.
